Thank you for a successful premiere!

The 1st Henkell 0.0% Vinothon – Wiesbaden·Rheingau SavourMarathon is now behind us. We look back with great joy on a successful premiere in wonderful weather, with many smiling faces and countless special moments.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all runners as well as to our local and regional partners, without whom a major event like the Vinothon would not be possible: Henkell Freixenet, LOTTO Hessen, Bäcker Dries Rheingau, Rheingauer Volksbank, Fahrschule Fuhrmeister, as well as our Savour partners along the route from Rüdesheim to Wiesbaden: Abtei St. Hildegard, Weingut Hanka, Weingut Sohns, Obstgut auf der Heide, Schloss Johannisberg, Schloss Vollrads, Weingut Karl-Johann Molitor, Baron Knyphausen, Klostermühle, Weingut Friedel Russler, and also the RheinLounge in Wiesbaden-Schierstein. We also thank the many other partners, supporters, contributors and participants who brought the Vinothon to life together with us through their great commitment.

A special thank-you also goes to all helpers along the route and at the stations – including the graduating class of Internatsschule Schloss Hansenberg, students of EBS, the Förderverein Kita Aulhausen, the Hochlandkapelle Presberg, SV Wiesbaden, as well as Laufart from Eltville for their support before and during the event.

Together with our strong partners, the region and, above all, with you runners, we now want to continue developing the Vinothon and are already looking forward to the years ahead. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, the city of Wiesbaden, the municipalities of the Rheingau, especially Rüdesheim am Rhein, Geisenheim, Oestrich-Winkel, Eltville am Rhein, Walluf as well as all participating authorities, the police, fire brigade and the emergency services. We are planning registrations for the next edition over the coming weeks and months.

Concept

Experience savour on the run!

At the Henkell 0.0 % the focus is not on record times. Of course, there is an award ceremony. Above all, you gain special moments and a wonderful time for yourself or to share with your friends. The decision whether to run a half marathon or marathon can be made spontaneously – or you can choose the 8 km short distance in advance.

The start takes place at Abtei St. Hildegard (St. Hildegard Abbey) in Rüdesheim. Short-distance runners cross the finish line at Schloss Johannisberg (Johannisberg Castle), half marathon runners in Hattenheim – both set in the picturesque Rheingau wine region. Marathon runners celebrate their finish at Schloss Henkell (Henkell Castle) in Wiesbaden-Biebrich, together with all runners at the finisher buffet and finisher party. You enjoy nature and historical scenes, discover regional delicacies at the savour stations and let yourself be charmed by the hospitality of the Rheingau wine estates.

As a modern and service-oriented driving school, we are proud to be part of the Henkell 0.0 % Vinothon GenussMarathon. We combine movement, enjoyment, and joie de vivre with what we live every day: mobility and freedom. At our stand, we will show you how easy it is to ride a motorcycle with the B196 extension – with no test required. Discover new ways to experience the region not only on foot, but also on two wheels. Stop by, meet us in person, and start your next road adventure with us.

Rheingau Kompass

x Henkell 0.0 % Vinothon

As a media partner of the Vinothon, we at Rheingau Kompass accompany the event up close with our podcast. We speak with organizers, runners, and wine lovers, offer insights behind the scenes, and tell the stories that emerge along the route. Our goal is to make the spirit of the Rheingau audible – between the vineyards, the starting line, and the finish.
